Our COASTAL Cottage IS IDEAL FOR COUPLES TO UNPLUG

  • Spacious 1300 sq. foot, two-level cottage, exclusively for couples only. (Two adults; no pets or children.)

  • Located within the quaint cottage community of Chelton, nestled along the south shore of Prince Edward Island.

  • An ideal location for couples who enjoy outdoor adventures, cycling, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming.

  • Open layout offering bright natural light throughout, including a vaulted ceiling to further provide a casual and relaxed atmosphere.

  • In the sunroom, cozy up on the couches and soak in the garden views, birdsongs and fresh Island breezes. It’s the perfect spot for quiet mornings, yoga, meditation, afternoon naps or evening cocktails.

  • Fully equipped kitchen with island, fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher.

  • Our meditation room offers a unique space for self-guided yoga, mindful meditation or a little quiet time for self-care.

SECOND LEVEL

  • Loft entertainment area overlooking the main sunroom through a viewing window under the vaulted ceiling.

  • Ample comfy seating options for quiet conversations, numerous board games and a fun collection of DVD movies.

  • Beside the loft is the main bedroom with Queen bed, large wardrobe plus vanity station to prep for date nights and summer fun.

OUTDOOR

  • A wrap-around deck encompasses the cottage with several seating options to relax throughout the day, and to take in exceptional star gazing at night.

  • The cottage is framed amongst large mature trees where you’ll feel completely cocooned in nature.

  • The large lot features several blooming flower beds plus ample green space for outdoor games or further relaxing.

  • For dining in, we have an outdoor BBQ station plus, when in season, an herb garden to add extra dashes of flavour.

  • Speaking of outdoors, an absolute favourite of our guests is to pour a beverage and venture to the private shore access to cuddle up and watch our amazing sunsets. In August, our location is also excellent for viewing the Perseid meteor showers.

  • Enjoy our 'zen corner' with a lush oversized chair for meditation in the fresh air or as a shaded reading nook.

  • Watch the evening sun fade into the distance on our outdoor pad with fire pit at the back of the property.

GORDON COVE PRIVATE BEACH

A short two-minute stroll to a private shoreline experience perfect for beach walks, morning meditations, enjoying a beverage, and the most amazing sunsets the Island has to offer!

CHELTON BEACH PROVINCIAL PARK

A two-minute drive or 10-minute walk to a beach situated within a provincial park with picnic areas, lifeguards (peak season only) plus washroom and shower facilities.

Centre of the Arts, popular Victoria Row, historic Province House

BRIDGE VIEW BEACH

A two-minute drive or 10-minute walk to a sandy beach with a full view of Confederation Bridge. You may even see a cruise ship or fishing boat sailing by.

Lovewelle Coastal Cottage is only a 9-minute drive from the Confederation Bridge, so you can start your getaway as soon as you arrive on our shores!

Directly off the Confederation Bridge is Gateway Village, a delightful mix of shops, dining options, local brew pub, artisans, retailers plus a provincial liquor store.

Centre of the Arts, popular Victoria Row, historic Province House

We are a brief 20-minute drive to Summerside, the second largest city in Prince Edward Island. Featuring a lovely seaside boardwalk for summer strolling, Summerside is home to artisan shops and markets, local dining, theatres, galleries, events, plus brandname retailers.

internationally renowned Culinary Institute of Canada

One of the most charming seaside towns, Victoria-by-the-Sea (a favourite recommendation of ours), is only a 25-minute drive from your accommodation. An ideal place to visit for delicious local dining, shops, galleries, and must-have handmade chocolate truffles.

If you’re an avid kayaker or paddleboard enthusiast, bring them along with you for your stay. Our cottage is the perfect spot to grab your gear and stroll down to the beach for a sunset paddle or early morning float.

Confederation Landing Waterfront

For cyclists, we are a 10-20 minute drive from different access points to the Confederation Trail; the historic railway system has been transformed into a rolled and groomed trail that stretches tip-to-tip across the Island. Pack your bikes and venture out for a lovely day of cycling right from our front door.
